Monthly WHAT’S ON Timetable – April 2024

Thank you all for your patience, we are a week late but we finally have our April timetable! If you have any questions about what services we offer, always feel free to message us on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/the.gate.charity or text Alisha on 07491383441.

We also have strong partnerships with other organisations, charities and groups in the area and can help you with signposting.

There is no confidence and interview skills club this month as we are running it in blocks and there is no block in April, the next block will be in May.

We have also changed it so that our Women’s Craft group runs once every two weeks instead of weekly, this is so that we can run our Memory Café on the opposite weeks. The new times for the Women’s Craft Group and Memory Café are 10:30am-12pm.

Cafe Open For ALLOA HALF MARATHON (Sunday 17th of March 9am-2pm)

In celebration of the 40th Alloa Half Marathon 2024 we will be opening our café space at 2 Ludgate, Alloa, FK10 2DR.
You can visit our Community Café on Sunday the 17th, open from 9am till 2pm.

We will be serving delicious hot-filled rolls along with any hot drink for £2! Due to popular demand, we will also be serving our afternoon teas at £5 per person, including an assortment of sandwiches and cakes.

We also have one of our volunteers taking part in the half marathon!

Greg has been volunteering with us for around eight months, his role here at the Gate involves maintenance and modelling, for those of you who attended our recent fashion show, Greg was Jan’s accessory. Greg has run many half marathons but none in the ‘Wee County’ Good Luck Greg!

So how can you help?

You can join us on the 17th as a ‘cheer volunteer’, and help to make Greg feel supported by shouting the loudest and proudest along the route… you won’t miss him, he will be wearing one of our T-shirts. To see the route, follow this link: https://www.alloahalfmarathon.co.uk/…/xRoute-Map…

Or you can sponsor Greg. You can do this by texting ‘MARATHON’ to 70490 to donate £5.00
