Our popular School Uniform Club is running again!
We all know how quickly kids grow, and this leaves tons of school uniform items at risk of going to landfill despite having lots of life left in them!
Our School Uniform Club collects donations of school uniform clothes and equipment, sorts and redistributes to families across the county. Saving people pennies, and good quality gear from going to waste.
If you have something you would like to donate, then bring it to our Ludgate premises or our charity shop.

A huge thank you to the Forth Valley Sensory Centre for joining us 30 June, to share with us more about sensory loss and the support services available in the area.
We hope they’ll be returning soon!

Alzheimer Scotland are offering a therapeutic day service for people living with memory difficulties, dementia, or mild cognitive impairment.
We have partnered with the Give as You Live fundraising platform!
You can now make direct donations, fund raise on our behalf and share a space to contribute to the Gate with your friends and family. You can sign in with a Facebook profile, or setup a free account and start raising funds that will go to helping the communities we support throughout Clackmannanshire. If you would rather make a direct cash donation you can setup a monthly donation or one off payment.

We have some of our highlights from the Gate over 2024 and the work we’ve done across Clackmannanshire. A huge well done to all our volunteers (old and new!) who helped contribute to another massive year for the organisation.
The Gate was one of 187 organisations accross the UK to be recognised for our outstanding work within the local community.
After nearly 10 years, the awards is still proudly displayed on our cafe floor. This award celebrated the value and importance of voluntary service, and the impact of our organisation on the local community.
Come down and enjoy a hot drink or some cake, and see this (and our other accolades) recognising the hard work of our volunteers.

Like everyone else, we at The Gate have been following the news regarding winter fuel benefits. We want people to know that if you are feeling anxious or worried about the coming winter months, you aren’t alone, and we’re here to help.
Equally, if you share the same worries we do about the wellbeing of people in our communities, you can help us to make a difference. You can go to the-gate-charity.org/donate-money/ or drop us a message if you’re interested in volunteering some time with us.
We pride ourselves on being responsive to the needs of the communities we support and will continue to do so whatever comes this winter, and beyond.
